i bet you a pound to a pinch of sh1t that there were still whingers when we were 4th all that time 2004/5......it gets me down seeing all the negative stuff, people stubbornly refusing to accept any argument that has anything positive in it. all of a sudden we become @ss suckers to sb, or the club/board....well, i've got news, i dont know sb or the board, but if i did i'd tell them not to judge blues fans by the crap they read on here, because it seems to me that whatever happens, or whatever is said, a negative spin gets put on it....most brummies, and especially blues fans in my experience, are generally smiley, cheerful types supporting the team through thick AND thin....its just a pity they dont come on here.. ;) i regret that i dont think this forum is representative of the people i've known down st.andys for 42 years, its a much more cynical "i want it now" attitude....stuff it  |

KC was probably one of the best players, for Blues, on the pitch today. The worst, without doubt, Super Space Giver - Mario. |

Well Pa,what about the 3second highlight of the first half.If you can give a conclusion on what you saw on MOTD then I'm sorry. Slow the camera down and try and make what you saw last 93minutes,because we actually sat through that. The improvement was on the first half showing, watching the groundsman at half time was a ******improvement on the first half!! I take it our new pitch is laid on polythene judging by the swamp in the corner..Nothing new there then.! Clapham was at fault,as they do.but that's why you have a ****goalie there in case of that. How is it whenever a defender makes a mistake it's a GOAL fgs? Drop Taylor and put another full back on,we'll be OK then! I,m 57 and Bent wouldn't have scored if I'd been in goal, cos it wouldn't have got to his ********head! A healthier performance? Yes healthier, like getting scarlet fever after the measle spots have gone.THAT's healthier! |

correct - and in any case, clapham shouldn't have been left in a position where he was the only one within 5 yards of their 6'4" centre forward....can you see how tall he is on 3 mins of motd, pa5673??? ;) where were upson and kc? watching the 4'6" winger, ffs.........england? upson? it'll never happen......... |

Upson should always be the last man in the middle of the park before the goalie. It's not as if he's a prolific goalscore is it.If their wingers beat the backs and cross ,so what? Our centre half and goalie should clear! Taylor saw that older Clapham was the only man there and young fast Bent was moving in on him....Perhaps you can tell me exactly what Taylors role is? He appears blameless. Is it because some London commentator said..Bent gave Taylor no chance ffs? It was Taylor who gave BEnt every chance!!!! If a goalie makes a mistake it's a goal,I understand that...But when the goalie does ***all? If Taylor had been Charltons goalie we would have scored six or seven on his showing, without HEskey!!!!! |

i'd have to say, willie, i think the weak part of taylors game is crosses - but he couldn't get to that one yesterday, it was too well placed and pretty rapid, but i think upson is awful at the moment..if anyone needs dropping its him. if tiny is EVER to get a game its gotta be now imo.... |

I remember Taylors debut and I said to my pals Thank God,we've finally got a keeper that comes out for the ball and throws it out to a Blues Player,so what happened?Taylor hasn't developed agraphobia overnight.Bennett became the same and he was also the best shot stopper I've seen... GET RID of that goalkeeping coach. HE never came off his line and they were relegated(B6).He's making good players average!!! If Bennett had been nurtured he would have been the greatest England goalie ever,I saw Banks/Shilton at his age and they were nowhere near him. I am not so long suffering in silence now as I can see that in a few years time or council tax re assess that I am not going to be able to afford a ST any longer but hope that the club see these things and the younger ones may see a trophy lifted if the club listen. |

And there was me driving all the way home to the south coast after the match in me wet pants and socks. :o If you are in Brum and are a die hard there is not much excuse for not getting behind the team, I would have a ST if I lived north of London. |

I have been off work sick for 12 months and shouldn't really have been out in the rain all afternoon yesterday but I was there and I waited up to see us on MOTD. I really am pleased with our performance in the 2nd half yesterday. Charlton's organisation was fantastic. They ahd a game plan and stuck to it 100%. Blauckburn tried it today with Bolton, got 10 men behind the ballm made it impossible for Bolton to get anyhwere near the goals and try to nick one on the break. Only they forgot to try to score. Out of the 2 games I would say that ours was the best because we carried on trying to play foobtall. We put it out to our wingers and tried to create as much as possible. All credit to Charlton for defending solidly. All Bolton did today was hoof it forwards for the defenders to clear. Yawn, how boring. Taylor had very little to do all afternoon. He could not have done anything about their goal. The cross was too far away from him and the header was too close. Most won't accept that but it's the way it was. What is it with some people? Give Taylor a break FFS. They didn't like Morrison, picked fault in everything he did and eventually drove him out. They didn't like Gronkjaer, the picked holes in everything he did and drove him out within months. Now they're picking on Taylor. He's one of THE BEST keepers in England at the moment. It's pathetic to blame him for every goal we concede because that is the easy option. |

Quote.....The cross was too far away from him and the header was too close? Translation plse? I thought it was only with a penalty that the goalie couldn't move. When he came to us.Taylor DID When he played for B6 the coach NEVER came off his line. Is that too difficult? The problem is that next time the same things arise Taylor STILL won't come for the ball. It's easier to stop the cross than stop the header. Remember MYRHE..He made it look easy."If I have the ball, they can't score" Never mind our full back being there,if he's in the way knock him for six as well. |

What was the score? yes we attacked better second half and so we should after another very average 1st half, but "flowing attacking football" rubbish, we run out of options/ideas after 4 or 5 passes we go side ways and backwards then Upson played a long ball up field and straight back to them, if you didn't see that then you have the same eye sight as stevie wonder B) |
